Derby Toc H Children’s Camp is managed, coordinated and staffed by an incredible team of around 50 unpaid volunteers. Without them the camp would not exist.
We are always looking to add new members to our team. Whether as part of the Derby Toc H Committee who meet monthly to fundraise, plan and coordinate the camp, as part of the team who build and take down the camp at the start and end of the holiday or as a member of the team who care, cater for and entertain the children during their holiday.
Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds – young and old, childcare professionals and those working with children for the first time. There will be teachers, engineers, bus drivers, plasterers, social workers, sales advisers, managers, admin assistants, care workers, students, retired people and the list goes on. A wide variety of backgrounds but at least one thing in common – the energy, enthusiasm and generosity to give up their time voluntarily to provide some very deserving children an amazing holiday.
You will work hard, play hard and be supported as part of our team. There are lots of different reasons why people first choose to volunteer for Derby Toc H Children’s Camp and its up to you to discover why so many come back year after year after year.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers past and present, without you our camp and the opportunity for a much needed holiday for some very deserving children would not be possible.
